Ukraine-Russia War: First Ukrainian Daughter Writes Open Letter Condemning ‘Killing’ of Civilians: ‘Close the Sky’

The first daughter met her husband, Volodymyr Zelensky, for the first time in nearly three months this week after attending the funeral of Leonid Kravchuk, Ukraine’s first president, who helped lead the country to independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union. 1991.

In April, Zelenska described the final moments she shared with her husband after Russian President Vladimir Putin presented his “special military operation” in February.

In an interview with Vogue, the first Ukrainian girl mentioned that she woke up between 4 and 5 a.m. the morning of the assault, after which she realized it was an explosion.

Her husband was not in bed, but was instead wearing his standard attire of a dark suit and white shirt. The last time she saw him wearing a suit, it was quite comparable to the green military uniform he wears now.

It’s unclear at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
