Pure Romance Sucks

I scheduled a party with a consultant. 2 weeks before I tried to contact her. No response. Party date came & went & she never showed up!

Unfortunately, there can be a bad employee with any company. There are many more great ones. Make sure you contact Pure Romance to tell them

Did you try to contact the consultant the week before the party? If you left voicemail or sent email, she may not have gotten the message.

The same thing happened to me! I went with another company and have been treated great!

I hosted a party with them and the products we received were dirty and nasty. I would never host another party with them.

When I had my party the consultant brought her boyfriend and he kept hitting on my friends! I would NEVER have another party with them!

That's ridiculous, Pure Romance rules state no men at parties. Funny, I heard that same "story" about a rep from Omaha in another company.

That is funny - EVERYONE knows PR is female only AND that same story was told about another company.

Pure Romance tries to scare its representatives into staying with the company by threatening to sue them if they leave.

This is yet again another bogus complaint from Brown Bag reps. BBP Reps are posting complaints on thier top competitors.

Should you have a valid complaint please contact Pure Romance Corporate Office or place a complaint with the BBB.

No, Pure Romance only filed a lawsuit against reps who were working with PR AND BBP at the same time, taking PR leads and using them for BBP

Consultants can switch companies at anytime, for any reason, as long as they don't take their downline or customers with them.

Pure Romance has gotten too big for their own good, i'm a past consultant and left cause i felt just like a number - no one cared.

Doesn't sound like the company sucks. Sounds more like the rep sucks. Every company has employees that aren't the best.

...and that show they did was so bad, I was embarrassed for them. They seemed too into themselves rather than the consultants who made them.

me 2! I totally got scammed by a Pure Romance person and she did not care about me. I tried talking to their office but noone helped me.

I'm in buffalo ny and loved my pr arty..everything was great..several booked off of me and all of theirs have been great as well!

I am a Male Consultant in a competitor company. They may have a Non-compete clause saying they cannot move to a competitor.

Pure Romance has great products. Female Reps in Jacksonville are scam artist. Be careful of Pure Romance-Morrisha Battle

Just a scam! I hosted a party and was told our products would be in within a week. 6 weeks later, no product and consultant changed her #.

I've been to several parties, and I've never had any problems. The consultants were entertaining, knowledgeable, and good at what they did.

I had alot of fun at my party! It was a fun experience but, it has been 6 weeks since my order and they say it will be another 4 weeks. >-(

If anyone felt like the were mistreated they should contact corporate and make a valid complaint the number is 1-866-766-2623

For products that was not received and was paid for you should also contact corporate since some products are on backorder.

I totally agree with this comment. Just last weekend (July 10 2010) my scheduled party came and went without a consultant. Horrible!

They only care about the reps who take out loans & buy their way on the boards not about the every day reps.

A consultant came to my home in June. A lot of people ordered items that required shipping. It's October and NOBODY has their stuff.

Again, if you have a problem call corporate. Also if you did not hear from youe consultant before your party, did you try to call her?

PR is great.Sometimes a number gets switched when writing it down, call your consultant if you don't hear from her, then call corp.

It sucks that there are consultants that have bad customer service and ruin it for the good ones. Get with PR Corp, they will make it right!

I attended a pure romance party on a sunday and my order was in by wednesday. All the products did exactly what they said!!! Awesomeness!

Went to a PR party and it was BORING!The products were NOT top notch.I can buy the same items better quality, better price at Adultmart!

PR over priced, delivery took way too long, fragile toy came in non-padded envelope with no instructions &didn't work! Was PURE FRUSTRATION!

I hosted a party and our consultant Kelly dowdy screwed me over on my 10%. She wrote me a check and it bounced and Corp can't do anything.

I went to pure romance party, placed an order. Me and everyone in my bookclub were sent the wrong items. NO ONE has contacted me back!
