Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources Sucks
Ask lots of questions before handing any money over -MNR ELC course doesn't seem quite right, there is a reason. You don't need it!!!
My experiences with Harold Lee and his reputation were OK at first, but got progressively worse as time went on. I complained to him about a school that I don't like and even told him the school used his ELC material to teach a course. He didn't do anything about it! When i got a job in environmental consulting witha company in Waterloo I heard nothing but bad things about him. His ELC course was taken away from contractors so only MNR teaches it - this is called control. The MNR ELC course is not recognised in other provinces and not sanctioned by Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. I was sucked into believing you needed his course to work in consulting. Don't bother taking Harold Lee's ELC course if you plan on working in Canada -it's not worth the time or money. I will definitely tell Conservation Authorities and consulting firms not to sign up to his bogus course.
BE WARNED! don't trust Harold Lee and definitely don't pay any money up front!
