Mountain States Toyota Sucks
Made me make and appointment and when I arrived they told me all they could do is make another appointment or I could leave my car for 2days
I just had a terrible experience at the Mountain States Toyota service department. My check engine light came on yesterday so I wanted to bring my car in to have it checked (it is under warranty, which I think is part of the reason I was refused service). I checked online to see your hours and discovered that I could make an appointment online. The website asked me if I would be able to drop my car off and I clearly checked no, I intended to wait at the dealership for service to be completed. I made an appointment for 4:45pm, the only appointment the website showed available. When I arrived I was greeted by Eric (blond spiky hair and a long goatee) and I told him my check engine light was on and tried to hand him my keys. He informed me that the only thing he could do for me at this time was make another appointment. (Why would I rush down to your store to make another appointment?!) I asked why and he explained that you close at 5:00 (I didn't realize that meant they dropped thier tools at 5:00 on the dot and don't work one second longer, most people in the service industry don't have this luxury) He told me I could leave it for him and he would try to look at it on Monday, this is my only vehicle and this isn't possible, I explained. He assured me that a check engine light is "no big deal" and just to make an appointment for when I have time again. At this point I was extremely angry and let him know that it is a lease and if anything goes wrong I am noting that this shop refused to service my vehicle. I love my car but I don't think I'll be leasing another Toyota. This service is unacceptable, you would think with people losing so much faith in Toyota's product these days they would strive to be impressive in the only are they can anymore: customer service. I am sorry I don't have a choice but to deal with this company for the next year until my lease is up, I can't wait for that to not be the case. I know this situation may sound minimal, but this guys attitude was just so dismissive. I am deeply insulted.
