Have not used the site yet but I feel this system isn't in the designers interest at all. Cheap prices for real work. Cut out the middleman!

No security for designers. They finish project but no way to communicate with contest holder. Stay away.

Tons of contests that are months past deadlines with have no chosen winners. DesignCrowd holds the money, designers' time is wasted

Agree, no security for designers. Clients extend deadlines for weeks at a time, dont respond with feedback. Nothing to keep clients in check

No security for buyers either. Designer reviews not published, little support for buyers. Too easy to get a bum designer.

I just put on a project - terrible designs offered. I asked 3 times for a refund and they keep $60 for fees - STAY AWAY

I entered a contest. The contest holder got 200+ concepts within 2 weeks+1 week extended, then seems disappear.One month pass, no feedback.

Design Crowd, like 99 Design, bleeds designers dry with tiny budgets. A goldmine for contest holders, but disrespectful of designers!

Ordered a logo four days ago... still listed as "under review". Have emailed/called this co. 6x. No response. Awful.

I won 2 contests in designcrowd, and I have sent my real file there, but there is no response, and payment is not received to date. hmmm

I have won 4 projects, only one payment is done of $200, the remaining 3 projects worth $530 is still pending from 15th december 2011.

DesignCrowd really sucks,, I have sent too may messages to EMILY, but she doesn't reply.. I haven't received any payments which I won..

It is just as bad for buyers! Irresponsible company! 99designs are way better!

Not surprising. I've submitted 50 or so designs. Nothing. They won't even reply to my emails.

As a business owner,I thought we could find a half-way decent logo and then work with the designer.They just want my money and never started

I'm done with this site.Contests remain open MONTHS AND MONTHS after the deadline expired.No winners announced either.Even a year after.

The Guernteed contests are bullshit since if the contest holder never chooses a design, those assholes keep the money instead of disributing

AND the worst of all?? For their lousy ass service what do they do?? TAKE 15 PERCENT OFF YOUR WINNINGS!! 99designs here I come.

I have just used design crowd to design my Garden Design Company Logo. Overall I am very satisfied with the service they provided

dc doesn't care about design as long as there are contests going on and they keep making money.

Paid 300$ to a designer only to realize later he used a stock picture I could have bought for much less. Bunch of scammers.

Worst website ever design crowd is a scam and just an example of good marketing and a waste of money I got scammed 230 dollars for nothing

I think Against DESIGN CROWD complaints all in FRAUD. Because am working as a designer in DESIGN CROWD. Wonderful & sincere service.....

One time my PAYPAL account issue.my payment return to DESIGN CROWD, That's time they are sending again after resolve the issue.sure100% true

Seller beware, but if you don't like it do not participate, but your hard work hard has no value and you leave yourself wide open to be scam

I joined the site today to see what it was about,and low and behold,there are a lot of unpaid contest that are still OPEN???? LOL smh

Site is fine, I won great deal of contests. The only problem are CHs that abandon their contests and bunch of clipart "designer's" spam.

I agee 100% with the overall consensus, our experience with DC has not been a good. Same problems as above and more !!!

Design crowd is so offensive. Gave client what they asked for in brief as did others as they were specific.design unrelated to brief won.b.s

Buyer Beware. The designers have the skills of a 3rd grader using photo shop. For the $180 entry level price you can find better

PART 1-Three part design. Client liked another's BC but my invoice. Chose other designer & put my design for other to copy. UNETHICAL CLIENT

PART 2-Project already closed and client asked me to submit more work. Design 2 calls Crowd twice and keep saying waiting on client reply.HA

PART3- Winning designer could not design invoice for client so client uploaded my design for his designer to copy.

PART4 - Chosen designer from INDIA. It maybe hard to make a living there but NO EXCUSE. DOES NOT GIVE YOU RIGHT TO COPY!!!

140 designers indicated they would submit and only two did. Got ripped off on $20 guaranteed payment too. Wish I had read this site 1st.

There are very few site owners that are more dishonest and greedy than dc's. Designers: if you have self respect,avoid this site at any cost

its all true, 'guaranteed' doesn't mean a thing - prepaid and guaranteed means 50% chance DC will keep it, no feedback, very dodgy

Guaranteed contest without picking a winner for a months and months, copied designs, no one to answer on messages, Design crowd - you suck!

as buyer-too many terrible submissions more time was spent weeding through the concepts and waste of over $600 must be bad deal for designer

I have used other logo design sites before who r gr8t. These guys don't have artists they are jokes & they don't refund money
