I recently called CenturyLink to review my services. The agent made changes to my account WITHOUT my permission. Isn't that illegal?
We had a scheduled bill come out of our account 3 weeks early. They still REFUSE to refund our money. Avoid these people at all costs.
Tried to remove long distance would end up costing more because of bundling. Use your cell phone.
They suck. 3/4 of time you can't get on the internet or you have to wait and wait. How do you get a class action lawsuit going?
Instead of sending out a technition they cut my DSL speed by 2/3rds. But still charge same price.
If Quest refunds me for returning a router, They Obviously got it. Then century link looses it while buying out quest and bills me for it
took over 10 attemps and 4 months to cancel service. cust srvc kept losing request. was sent to collections for not paying. finally disco'd
It's all about money and not about people. Not about employees. Not about customers. It's all about gaining the $$$ at any cost.
I dont know how CenturyLink can legally sell high speed internet that is slower than dial up. They should b charged with false advertising

Horrible DSL tech support and customer service.
Customer service is horrible. Most have been rude, condescending and no help. Company seems fragmented. NO voice mail instructions. BAD....
I'm paying for 3MB connection, only getting 2 - they say that's within thier range. If I only pay 2/3 of my bill, is that in the range too?
This is obsolutely the worst company on the planet. They kept making mistakes one after another, and no ending in sight. Always overcharge.
Told I would pay 24.95/month. Bill much higher because I could not get the speed the rep said I could on phone. I was lied to, now stuck

Centurylink is terrible. Support is the same run around every time.Turn off system,reboot modem,FTP,ping etc...Sick and tired of the hassle!
I ordered prism TV in early Nov.2010. You must be home for the install. Wasted 2 days and no TV yet. 2 days out of work. Today is 12/28/2010

THEY WOULD RATHER SPEND MILLIONS ON COMPETING AGAINST THE CABLE COMPANY THAN EXPANDING THE SERVICES TO WAITING CUSTOMERS. ONLY FOR DOLLARS.

Telephone tech support sucks - the old put you on hold and checks to see how long you wait. If you are still there they eventually hang up.

My bill has never been right since day one! Everytime you call someone quotes you a different price! They are terrible!!
These people can not deliver consistent high quality service. I pay for 10 megabit, somedays it actually happens. Avoid them if possible.
Horrible connection speed with their DSL. $100 cancellation fees. No more phone company for me ever. Cable company is the way to go.
My first bill for $59 phone/internet is $187.54 and the best that anyone can do for me is send it to a review board for a credit of $43.00
They tell you how much your service will be, and then charge you whatever they want. Tried to resolve by phone, no luck. Company does not
Horrible. Charged for higher speeds than we actually got. They finally refunded $10/month for overcharge, then reduced contract to 1 year.
Unreliable. The disconnects are beyond counting, and uptime is maybe a minute. Went down for more than a *week* once, with *no* response.
