I resigned from this company because of unethical practices and lack of training. Stay far away from Brown Bag Party!

I also left due to lack of training and support that I was promised.

They promise you'll be in business for yourself, not BY yourself - could've fooled me.

Their contract and fine print contradicts itself, and it hasn't been updated since their policies changed on 9-1-09. Completely out of date.

They also like to single out reps & gang up. There's another thread here (now locked) where BBP attacked 1 former rep by name more than once

Yes, several names were brought up several times. So it's ok for BBP reps to be attacked by name but when one of your names are mentioned..

Trying to divert attention by attacking one rep who is great at what she does is not a defense.

But attacking others that you know nothing about is? If this was truly a company complaint NO names would of been mentioned!

The reps of BBP are vicious. As a company, the owner should be making it known that this behavior is not tolerated.

Brown Bag Party uses false advertisement and unethical tactics to build their business. A business built on a weak foundation will crumble.

I just read that BBP grew 100% in 13 months - doesn't look like it's crumbling. Something must be working.

I am a BBP Rep and highly embarrassed that my sister reps are posting to this thread. Ignore them because your making this worse.

I was a rep with Brown Bag for 4 months. I was told the best way to recruit was to locate reps in other companies and work them.

To the embarrassed one, call your highest upline level and tell her that you are embarrassed. Also tell Peter. Only they can end it.

Yes, the ones telling the newer reps that are the ones who win all the recruiting contests. It's a company based on recruiting, not sales.

When a company receives a complaint, the company & it's associates should do what they can to fix this issue. I will agree w/ complaint

100% Growth- That doesn't mean those people are working. Each Rep could have signed on sisters,brothers,mothers,wives,husbands & cousins

Brown Bag Party's contract for consultants isn't enforced regularly. If it was enforced all the time, nobody would question ethics.

Brown Bag Party reps stalk successful reps from other co's online, gossip among themselves about that rep, then copy that rep's every move.

I think with all this energy being used to belittle someone who has a valid issue, someone surely could come up with a creative solution.

I left Brown Bag for the same reasons. There is no training provided by the company itself, it's all "peer to peer".

Yes, peer to peer is like the blind leading the blind. If the "peer" has credentials, they wouldn't be a peer to new reps.

Who would want to join BBP knowing their business can be taken away at any moment by the powers at be?

Brown Bag Party is aware of how its reps behave and does nothing to set any type of standard. Nastiness seems to BE the standard.

The company doesn't provide enough training at the corp level. They claim to have 1 of the best training sites in the industry, it is awful.

BBP is set up to attract the greedy and the hungry. It is no surprise that the reps are cut throat people. They have proven this over & over

I bought a toy & a lube from, lube leaked all out in the box. Lube ate the toy & ruined it. 5M later, cust svc hasn't replaced the box.

It took 3 months for me to settle a product issue and that was dealing with the Headquarters. Customer service sucks!
