Access America Sucks

I purchased this travel insurance because my husband is chronically ill and I knew there was a chance that he might become too ill to travel which is exactly what happened.  It was not advertised on their web site that they don't cover preexisting medical conditions.  In fact, you are deceptively led to believe that they do cover medical conditions.  I filed a claim with approximately 8 pages of information they wanted, inclusive of a doctor's statement and then I receive another letter saying they want yet another physician statement from a different doctor.  At this point, I called and got one stall tactic after another.  All they could do was say that I should have read their policy and told them within 10 days if it was not satisfactory.  Never mind the fact that when I called to file the claim, I was NOT told that the claim would not be covered because my husband had been to a doctor within 120 days of the trip!  This organization is a scam and have clearly trained all of their employees to be ace scammers as well.  DO NOT BUY ACCESS AMERICA INSURANCE!!!
